this is why I don't eat meat plus farm welfare standards tend to be 'food + water + shelter = okay' when actually animals need enrichment / toys / interaction for truly good welfare mentally and physically farms simply cannot provide those things but it's not the standard of care that makes me not eat meat it's the fact that animals are killed and people profit off killing them and I don't want to give my money to people who do that can queue move your seat up?
